hanna sheez
for those of you unfortunate to receive the sisterhood of the traveling beesuit emails, i will give you an update on one its notorious members - hanna sheez.
frustrated by the wireless going out, sheez's dad googled on hanna's phone the wonders of body paint on women. here is what they came up with

i guess the 'sexy redhead' google search didn't live up to his carnal satisfaction.

fundamentals of play
i'm finally getting into the book that i started at fomo. this go around i'm actually past page 9! (i must have had ADD withdrawls, but i think i'm over that now).
set in the late 80s/early 90s, the novel follows 20-something characters stuck in the post-grad phase of life, floundering their way through NYC to find ill-fitted love, independence, and a reputable profession. the kids are the UES set, and their money issues, i.e. having too much of it, or losing all of it, translate to situations that define irony. harry left dartmouth after freshman year (still not sure why), and since then has been computer wizzing his way to investors. his current project is starting the 'world wide web.'
the ruminations about missing school are really pertinent to me. "When the reason for my rotten mood came to me, it was more humiliating than any homesickness. I was school-sick. I missed school, the lovely order and the sense of limitless yet defined forward moveement. Kate had said [New York] was so nice, but there were men at work who ran marathons and jumped out of planes just because they didn't have any homework." -- Caitlin Macy

my mom has a good arm. my sister has a good voice.
so today my mom got mad at me. she ran out the backdoor. "you are ruining our lives!!!". she threw my car keys in the pool. i swept them off the pool floor with the net. i thought it was funny, she didn't.
5 hours later. my sister dictates her notes from her rounds. "X works as a school administrator. X says he cut off his finger while cutting pineapple. Negative tobacco. Positive 'occassional recreational drug use'"
